Firm History

The expertise and experience of its management team headed by Mike Deodati offers a significant asset that provides the Company with insight, knowledge, intuition and the ability to adjust to rapidly changing environments, a very typical characteristic of the Oil and Gas Industry.

In the last decade many smaller oil and gas companies have found it uneconomical to operate wells due to a fixed amount of manpower and costs associated with operations. In addition to these high costs, it has become more difficult to comply with a complexity of regulations imposed by the Texas Railroad Commission and other various regulatory agencies. There are also certain tax benefits which inure to the production of “High Cost, Deep Gas”. They have become increasingly difficult to identify and take advantage of. Alamo Operating Company L.C. has provided customers with the expertise and services necessary to carry out the day to day operation of wells without having to hire the additional staff necessary to carry out these operational demands.

In addition to “Contract” services, Alamo Operating Company, L.C. has generated numerous prospects and has successfully drilled both vertical and horizontal chalk, shale and conventional sands. Alamo has successfully operated for well known companies such as Chevron/Texaco, and Carrizo Oil and Gas and has seen much of its success in South Texas.

Alamo is constantly looking for partners to participate in various Drilling and Acquisition programs as well as looking to other Industry Partners to participate in their ventures.
